Our system just south of Florida has now been upgraded to Invest 90.
Invest 90
- 35 mph winds
- Stationary
- 80% chance of development over five days
- 70% chance of development over two days
- Hurricane hunters expected to fly through tomorrow
Current forecasts have I90 developing into a Tropical Depression/Tropical Storm (Arthur) by this weekend as it heads ENE in the Atlantic.
Florida could see some gusty winds (20 – 30 mph) along the coastline today through the weekend, along with rain. Then the Carolinas could be up next depending on its track..
Models are not developing it beyond a TS currently.
**Still need to watch for any westward shift in track since this would bring it closer to the Florida coastline.**
